It was such a treat to have 3 days off for the long weekend.  The 72 hours went by very quickly.  It's only appropriate that it did because of the old saying, "time flies when you're having fun."   What would a holiday weekend be without good food to eat?  Friday's dinner was Italian at a new place (for me) in Cerritos.  Saturday was a big reunion ( Read more... )

Summer officially starts today. It was not until after 8:30 p.m. that the sky finally turned dark.  I celebrated the solstice by buying a new summer shirt at the GAP.  It's not a summer color - it's black, but my wardrobe was in need of professional clothing that is not meant for cooler temperature.  I'm definitely not a spring when it comes to ( Read more... )
