Sad but true! I'm a bad parent as I'd be asking them what instance, what drops, etc. LOL! They'd enable me or I'd finish playing their toon while they slept up for their lacrosse game!
Well it's one thing if it's a family activity. Another if it's not and the kid is spoiled, whiny and won't listen. He mentioned something about "Tearing the family apart". Sounds to me like there are other issues going on if he's repeating that gem statement.
WOW. Kind of reminds me of so many kids these days, who are not disciplined and their parents allow them to get to the point where they are 13 and actually whine like they are 5 years old still. They do it because it has WORKED before, or they wouldn't try it again and again until they are 20yr old losers. Holy ****.
My younger step brother is A LOT like that. I remember one time we were coming back from skiing and he wanted to eat in Calgary. He nearly pitched a hissy because they didn't want to drive all that way. I was like WTF? How old are you? Not quite as much screaming but the same amount of whining. Thank God no one gave in. My dad (not his dad) eventually kicked him out of the house. I guess it was that ridiculous. His mom and dad spoiled him.
I once dated a guy that was 23 or 24, and was still living with his parents. That always sort of disgusted me, and I ended up dumping his ass because I was 19 and about eleventy billion times more mature than his momma's boy ass, lol.
That's funny about your step-brother...it's good your Dad kicked him out so he can finally grow up.
Wow, uh. Holy shit. My four year old whines like that. He lacks some of the vocabulary, but he'll do exactly like that if I don't help him get to this-or-that spot so he can kill kobolds in Loch Modan with my level 70 hunter.
Especially not after he sold her pants by accident, by god.

WoW, ruining families and bringing dads to domestic abuse.
