Things have been busy and crazy and quiet and boring all at once. One week I'm busy going and meeting a whole heap of new people and having a fantastic time. The next I'm spending much of my weekend trying to catch up on sleep and twiddling my thumbs. I'm sitting here waiting to hear from mum. Waiting to hear how my great uncle is, whether the hospital has been able to stabilise him or whether he is going to die or has brain damage or what, and it has occurred to me that this will sort of thing is going to become more a more frequent occurrence in my life as I get older. So my weird sleeping patterns/awakeness patterns are back. I didn't have work tonight and so i've been cooking for the morning tea I'm supposed to provide for tomorrow at work given it's my turn and as per my old habbits I couldn't get motivated until about 10 and I'm just waiting for the last lot of quiches to come out of the oven. I HAVE A JOB.

I got the med receptionist job I interviewed for on Wednesday morning. I start on Wednesday *bounce bounce bounce* and I'm going to be able to keep my coles job as well (based on the hours) so maybe I will be able to go to America after all.

Oh my golly am I stuffed. I've just finished a 7 hour shift of stacking shelves and my back isn't happy about it. I was only supposed to do 4 hours, like a normal shift but I got a call at 3 asking if I could come in at 6 rather than 9 which I agreed to do, but instantly regretted.
