I am not a postive person in general, alas. I see doom and gloom everywhere without anything like as much evidence as they're giving me. :(

I don't want them to willingly spend a single moment apart. I don't care if it's all healthy and ~character developing.

Because I am unreasonable and don't care. ;)

You and me both, girl. I don't want them to grow up! Get hotter, yes. Change their look, yes. But they have to still be butt crazy and love and together constantly.

Ahaha, I actually like Kevin. (Possibly a little more than I like Nick.) I wouldn't give up completely if there was no more Kevin, but I'd be a little sad.

idk, if they got a house together, I'd be sufficiently mollified. But otherwise, I'm gonna be a little bummed about this until they do something to distract me. I need a lot of reassurance and unfortunately that blog definitely did not help.

Some hugging or kissing might. Or maybe a fic about hugging and kissing. ::wags eyebrows suggestively::

I find Nick kind of interesting in a way that's detached from the fact that I think he's a hot little piece. He's a weird guy. I always call Joe weird (because he is when it comes to Nick), but in general I think he's pretty well-adjusted, considering the showbiz parents and the homeschooling and all that. Kevin too. Nick, not so much. I don't reckon having an overly ambitious "dadager" is very healthy for someone already prone to being a perfectionist and workaholic at such an early age. And he's surrounded by people who constantly tell him how over-the-top amazing he is at music, which probably doesn't help his sense of perspective. He seems a little too obsessed with proving himself. He's either going to grow out of that and relax a little or he's going to get worse about it and become violently repressed and have an epic meltdown one day. Probably a quiet meltdown, but still ( ... )

The success, or lack of it, with Nick's solo album is totally the least of my concerns. Except that if it flops, he's much more likely to continue on with the proven brand of the Jonas Brothers.

My main fear is so totally this:
Anyway, Nick and Joe are so caught up in each other and so supportive of one another that I don't think they'll ~grow apart~ or whatever. The problem I have with it is visibility. We won't get to see as much of them together. Ahaha, selfish.

Unlike 'Nsync and other bands, these guys still go home for Christmas to the same place. They'll continue on in familial affection, Joe and Nick will have egg nog and cuddle, and that's great. But what about meeeeeeeee?

If/when it flops, he will probably end up crying into Joe's lap. In a completely manly way.

Maybe they'll get a reality show! That's what all the washed-up pop stars are doing these days. Like, The Jonas Hour: Nick and Joe Make America Uncomfortable With Their Closeness, or something.

Hahahaha, he SO WILL. And Joe will have to bite him to distract him. ::nods::

I always joke that the Nick & Joe Handbook to Brotherly Interaction is probably banned in 43 countries. (Chapter 7, When is Nudity Appropriate? Always!)

I was joking last night that I needed a breather. I can take such rapid change! I have renewed hope, suddenly, though. And I guess there's nothing we can do about it, if things are going to end up a worst case scenario.

When I think of Nick's solo attempt all I can think of is how awkward I felt during his solo performance of Black Keys/ALBL this past summer. I literally cringed throughout Nick's entire performance. I thought it was the biggest cheese-fest. His extended pauses for dramatic effect were particularly memorable. Blech ( ... )

OH MAN. GOSPEL? ::SMACK FOREHEAD::

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING.

::laughs:: Holy crap. I feel a little better. A gospel record fits things a lot better. The short recording time/lack of well known guest stars, Nashville, the ho hum announcement, "heart & soul" music, how he can plan to drop on an album and then tour with his brothers.

Ugh. God, now I hope it's a gospel record because then he's Brian Littrell, not Nick Carter OR Justin Timberlake.

THANK YOU FOR THIS GOSSIP.
