Awwwwwwww. I'm a poopy mood. Not just because of Nick J's headband, but real life things which is affecting my reaction to this news.

Also, I am a Chicken Little, and always have been. Things are all topsy turvy, but I don't doubt it'll even out a bit and everyone will have a good chuckle about my doomsaying.

It's rough right now because we don't have any idea of what kind of attention this album is going to require. Maybe it'll be a one-off, but my philosophy is constant vigilance!

I'm watching Nick Jonas. Do NOT break my heart.

yeah, constant vigilence
-just had a harry potter flashback and actually snorted-
I'm buying it, I'll still support him and them, and if this is really what they want it'll break my heart but they'll be happy?
:/

Oh God Everything about this post. Expecially about the Justin Timberlake reference. As you can see by my ljname, I was hugely into popslash and my fandom mostly broke up because of the solo effort of one JT. And then! Panic! at the Disco, my second love, split in two because of 'musical differences'. I have only been in JB fandom for like two months and already there has been more drama and craziness then in my combined time in popslash and bandom. This is ridiculous. Nick J, ily but who are you without your brothers? Won't you be lonely trying this thing on your own?
Take four months off and then come RIGHT BACK TO ME, intact and still adorable.

THIS.
/end babble

Hahaha, refugees from the Great Nsync Break Up Denial unite! I can never, ever trust a band again when they say "it's just a break" because JFC I wanted Nsync to reunite SO BADLY.

Luckily, I don't think that the JB are going anywhere for at least six-eight months since they insist they're doing a summer tour again. It MIGHT end, but it ain't over yet. Time to enjoy and to see them while we can. If they stick together than that can just be gravy. ^^

IKR? Nsync was the first band to break my heart and I never got to see them or Panic! and now JB tryna pull this shiz. I only got into this fandom for the brotherly ~love and now they want to be seperated? As I said yesterday, this week is illogical, I can't have it.

Oh man, please please don't be over yet. I have only just begun flailing over these boys!

Wait! There is another option! Brian Littrell! Brian Littrell does Gospel albums that could NEVER be as commercially viable as BSB. There's NEVER a danger of him leaving BSB for Gospel...

This could be what we're in for?

But to be sure, SEE THE JB when they tour! That's so sad you never got to see your bands. :(

I REALLY hope the songs on his solo album are completely different from his JB stuff. I'm so very impatient to hear them! I think he has a lot of potential as a songwriter (or at least musicwriter - I'm not too sure about his lyrics), and I want to know what he'd do differently when he's not tied down to the Jonas Brothers name.

I think I'd like to see Joe in a serious movie/tv-series, just to know if he really can act. People won't take him seriously even if he is, but still.

Basically I'm just very very curious about everything. And the blog said that there's a new world tour in the makings for next summer, so I'm not too worried.

I really believe that Nick is a good musician, totally. I particularly like it when he gets a little funky like Hey Baby. If he's got a great album I'll listen to it, just like I bought the solo albums for Nick Carter and Justin. Also, I love Joe, and I will probably see all of Joe's stupid/amazing movies and sigh about how handsome he is.

But the release of a solo album is very fraught with tension for me. I got baggage! And that's no fun, I know.

Hopefully all my doom and gloom will be laughable in a month's time.

Ahahaha, just call me Debbie Downer. :(

I didn't mean to come to this fandom with so much baggage!

I see all your points and, as someone who was in popslash during the time when Justin and Nick C. went solo, the comparisons - I just guess I see things like this as a natural evolution for bands like this that start out young and heavily managed. The second Kevin's engagement was announced I basically threw my hands up and went, "Well, I guess that's it!".

I am stoked on Nick J and the Administration, tbh, especially if he's done something with a different sound. (I would be happy with a whole album that sounded like "Stop the World", no lie.)

Yeah... sighs. I think my woe is symptomatic of me consistently choosing the wrong bandmate to fangirl. I miss JC's singing so, so bad but all I get is Justin. It would be the same here, Nick's music all the time, but Joe's only occasional appearance.
