Hi Missjenmarie,

I am as you looking for the right painting MFA program for me. But I'm feeling very confused and really could use the feed back from you and others. Dead lines are looming and I am getting nervous!
Anyway, if you are still using this blog, as you have not posted in awhile, I would love your feedback.

Let me know where you are in this process?

Hi there! if you add me as a friend you can see what my journey has been thus far! I thought I was well prepared but in fact at this time I am very nervous and worrying even though this summer I was over preparing I actually under prepared and now that I am in my final year of undergrad, things are really heating up and it's hard to address things in preparation for my applying in December. Please add me and post as you desire! Would love to have your input as well as giving input to you!
What concentration/schools are you looking into?

OH Man!
What a lot pressure you must be feeling!
I like you are feeling as though I have under prepared!!!!!! My work has taken a needed change and now, at this very late time I feel my work is not going to be scene as coherent. Now I am working much smaller in order to catch up!
But I am very worried! I really don't know how to asses my situation.
Anyway, I am a painter. I interested in the mostly the same schools as you. I will be more specific tomorrow.

Hi missjenmarie!

Sorry I've not gotten back to you I have been very busy...you know I am sure.
I was wondering about Hunter College...do you know much about it?
Can you tell be anything you may know about it?
Also, do you know it Tyler indeed has sheared studios?
I was also wondering if you knew anything about NYUs' program.

Hunter has great studios with locked doors, but there program is huge and the school is huge. You have direct access to new york city, and most artists that go there tend to have success after grad school by being sought out in their mfa thesis exhibition by curators and galleries. It is inexpensive, which is also a plus.
And yes it is true about Temple, I emailed the graduate director. I thought it was so absurd considering they just finished building a brand new building with brand new facilities. It is a good program, but the shared studios is a huge huge turn off!
I unfortunately don't know anything about nyu.
