I PASSED MY SOCIAL WORK LICENSURE EXAM!! This proves I am minimally competent to start social work practice in MN!! My parents have never been so proud!! ;)

Started my new job. I like it all right. I am nervous a bit and feel like I should know more, but I am learning fast, I hope. People are nice. Getting tired working two jobs as I have a shit load of lifeguaring shifts I asked for before I found out I was employed full time. Otherwise, ok.

So I went and signed all the paperwork to start my new job today. I dont really start working until Thursday but they let me do the paperwork on the clock today to get me on insurance one month quicker. YAY TO BEING EMPLOYED!! I am soooo nervous. So...I had to be in Downtown Minneapolis today....I CANT FIND THE PLACE!!! THERE IS NO PARKING!! ONLY ONE WAY STREETS AND CARS HONKING AT ME!! I WAS 45 MINUTES LATE MY FIRST DAY OF WORK! First interview for a real job on Monday. Scared and nervous.

So, finished a week with the whole family and my 18 month old nephew in Rome. Turned out ok with some classic Heim family moments including the great donut controversy my sisters told me about that happened during a stopover in Amsterdam. Still in Scotland, not for long now though. I will be leaving for Rome on the 28th of December and then to tour Europe until 16th February. I am such a bum. This will be the longest I have been without a job since quite awhile ago, possibly since 16 years old.
