[ It had been a long day for Blair, but a not-so-long night. Last she remembered, it was ten at night, but then the sun started rising and now... well. Suffice to say that she is beyond disoriented, and also beyond grateful that out of everyone, there was Chuck here.

Spotting him from afar, she got up from the bench and ran towards him, pulling her coat around her. ]

I'm here!

[He pulls her into a hug, carefully not to spill any of the coffee on her or on himself]

It's good to see you again

[He says gently. After a moment he moves away and offers her a cup of warm, delicious coffee, just the way she likes it]

Here, you must be freezing.

[ The hug was unexpected. He had been so cold the last time she saw him, he acted so much like her father that it seemed like he intentionally mimicked him. But now Chuck was back.

Blair returned the hug, a smile now on her face despite her outfit. ]

Thank you for coming. I'm glad it's you.

[ She took the coffee from him, warming her hands with the cup. She sighed. ]

I don't feel like exterminating pests now, let's just go home.

[ Blair laughed fondly, letting herself lean against him. But when his next sentence got through to her, she stepped back a little to look at his face. She felt like he was pulling a prank on her too, but he would never, would he? ]

It's all rather complicated, and I wouldn't believe a word of it but I've been stuck here for a while now...

[He reached for his Network device and pulled up the most reliable guide he had. He then showed it to her]

[ She furrowed her brows, taking the guide from him and skimming through it. It has all the makings of an April Fool's joke, but she felt like she should believe him. Truth is stranger than fiction and all that. ]

I don't-- So what do we do?

[ To anyone else, she would have acted like she was in control, like she knew exactly what she was doing. But she is confused now, and a little more scared, so she is glad for him. She can trust him. Biting her lower lip, she took his hand in hers. ]

Let's-- just go back home first. Your place.
