Hello! How was everyone's days? I'm not going to pretend I really have anything to talk about besides the movie I saw today and what I'm doing tomorrow. In brief, today I saw Disgrace, which i won't review because to my surprise it was a joint Australian/South African production and apparently old, so I assume it didn't get a good release beyond ( Read more... )

Pretty Taylor icons! She's really grown on me and I think it's 60% due to her awesomely pretty hair and cute face!

Also, I like KStew/RPattz in a share-a-joint-and-have-dirty-sex way too. But I like Kristen's real life boyfriend too much for more. And think Rob is too much of a dirtbag to be a good boyfriend.

Prisoner of Azkaban is definately the best movie with OOTP not far behind
THIS!!!

Also, Gary Oldman could out-act a super-hybrid-clone made of Meryl Streep, Marlon Brando and Jimmy Stewart's genes. Or maybe not.

on your comment about HIMYM ending soon, I've thought about it quite a bit. It seems like it ending soon because the mother is right there now is an obvious choice, but I just don't want it to! I think they could do another 5 quality seasons, because I think the characters are interesting enough. What I thought was maybe they could just change the name of the show, I'm not sure what to though. Because I think people would still watch it to see what happens with ted and the mother once they're married, barney and robin maybe getting married, lily and marshall having kids and so on. I know I could watch those 5 characters right up until they're 40.

Yeah, I know a lot of people are contending now that the show's taken a turn wherein it's not so much about the love story anymore as mmuch as a bunch of friends and the stories Ted tells about them. I think what probably happened was the creators never thought it would be this successful or last so long and so they're a bit weird at times with padding it out. (We don't really have contingency mothers anymore, for example). Sitcoms have the most longevity of any time of show but sadly, particularly with Jason Segel doing more movies and Alyson hannigan being Alyson Hannigan, I think it'd be good if they cut the show loose before one of the actors wants to leave. You can't really get much closer to the mother then her being in Ted's classroom though.
