i went down to mt. pleasant wednesday and signed on an apartment. it has shuttle service to the university which was the selling point to me. it's pretty nice and it's right next to a target and some other stuff. the complex has 8 buildings and 4 of them have laundry rooms. it will be weird to not have one right by where i sleep. the town seemed ( Read more... ) -
well, why not
For posterity, I finally graduated. Got a BA in History with a minor in Econ and an Assoc in Liberal Arts for the heck of it. Probably should have thrown in an English degree for a trifecta of still-can't-get-a-job. Finished magna cum laude with a 3.87. Kinda botched the last semester and it brought the GPA down a bit. Since yesterday I have been bouncing around like I won the lottery and I just got a letter from CMU saying I've been awarded a different fellowship (that was the master's specialist fellowship). Whatever this is I don't know, he called it "The Fellowship ( Read more... ) -
