I know she's relatively new but has anyone had Lauren Kaminsky (in Gallatin) as a professor? I've heard how she is as an adviser, but I'm interested in her class for next semester, and I'm curious how she is when she's teaching.

It's almost two a.m., and I'm not tired yet. I still have a takehome final to finish and a photo project to present, but as of 11:50 a.m. today, I am done with class for freshman year.

I just applied to study abroad in Prague next spring. Does anyone have any experience with the food there? What's it like? Will I be okay for three or four months?

There is no way this week could be any more stressful. I have 9726267 things to do from here until Saturday. Save me.
On top of that, I'm absolutely screwed for registration. The magazine class I want already dropped 10 of it's 15 spaces, and it's only 9:45 on day 1. This isn't fair. -

I think it's the little things that make college what it really is. Classes seem to be going pretty well so far. Travel Fictions and The Meaning of Ritual (my two Gallatin seminars) both seem great, even with all the work. I have two short papers to write for Meaning of Ritual on Thursday and I haven't even started them yet. Fun stuff. Comparative Politics is good, but it would be better if my professor spoke ( Read more... )
