Not that it matters much for the amount I post but, we're going to be sans internet as of next month.  In part it's a psychological experiment.

I must express my appreciation for our new paper towel holder (ridiculous right?). But I'm serious - it's a wall mounted one-hand pull contraption, and it's awesome!

In recent news.....

OFL's grandfather (Pop) died July 25th; Pop's father will be celebrating his 100th birthday this November.  He lives in Glasglow.

Monster1 turned four at the end of May; Monster2 turned two yesterday; many presents overfill this house (including two 'creatures' called Ponycycles .... yup, my kids got ponies - spoilt much?)

I have two children. My daughter is 3 years old and my son will be one year old in August.  I managed to sew two costumes for the musical of the Sound of Music for which I got tickets for the 23rd.  I got a 72 drawer library card cabinet for christmas (which didn't make it home until last week.  It is heavy).  I'm listening the the audio book of ( Read more... )

There was a truck in the parking lot with the decal K-OS Quality Lawncare ... now is it just me, or does that strike you as a bad choice in name? Yes, the name 'chaos' is spiffy, but I would prefer the quality of my lawncare not to be chaotic (I'm currently losing the battle to weeds and deadness due to that very thing).
