a short trek to the mundane
Not that it matters much for the amount I post but, we're going to be sans internet as of next month. In part it's a psychological experiment.
I must express my appreciation for our new paper towel holder (ridiculous right?). But I'm serious - it's a wall mounted one-hand pull contraption, and it's awesome!
I have another week to wait for my wardrobe :( When you special order something and they 2-3 weeks for delivery, you'd think they'd let you know in the interim that the product has been discontinued .... I found this out when I called the store for an update (week 3); they're bringing it in from an Edmonton store which has five left in stock, it should take 5 days ... !! ... why they didn't go that route in the first place, I don't know. And the website still has the product listed.
I spent part of yesterday morning doing the very grown-up task of writing cheques for the kid's fall activities, combined with mommy burnout, this put me in a right down mood.
