So, today, I looked into daycares again with Dad. These were both "preschool" types of daycares (that is, not private-home caretakers). Ugh, SO expensive. The cheaper of the two we visited was $155 per week and full-time only. I'm really not sure that I need full-time childcare right now, but I may not have much choice in the matter. I have most of my holiday shopping done! I got the new Grisham book for Mom, "Cool Hand Luke" and a boxed set of old John Wayne movies (all on DVD) for Dad, a nursing shirt for Jen, and a sleeper with convertible feet (covered feet or non-covered feet!) for Ryan. Oy vey. My maternity leave is coming to an end here quickly... and I'm very much so not ready to go back to work yet. ;_; Well, I think I'm mentally ready to do it, but on a practical level, I'm not remotely prepared. So, it's Friday, and I DID get some info on child care centers (yay) and I've got most of the baptism stuff set up too (also yay!). I'm supposed to meet with Pastor Brauer tomorrow afternoon to finalize things, apparently. The baptism is currently set for 10:30 service on Sunday the 26th of this month--which apparently is Christ the King Sunday ( Read more... )
