New adventures!
I have most of my holiday shopping done! I got the new Grisham book for Mom, "Cool Hand Luke" and a boxed set of old John Wayne movies (all on DVD) for Dad, a nursing shirt for Jen, and a sleeper with convertible feet (covered feet or non-covered feet!) for Ryan. I still need to find something for my brother and the friends I ought to get gifts for, though.
My brother is a very proud dad. ^_^ ...I still don't know what to get him for Christmas, though. ^_^; Baby Ryan is okay. He got a little jaundiced (not a big surprise there), but if he keeps doing as well as he has, he can probably go home tomorrow or Thursday. Jen's doing okay too, but she's had some problems with ankle swelling so they're going to double-check her for clots. She'll probably go home today or tomorrow.
I have learned that, as much as Adrian loves his mobiles, about three full windings is all he has the patience for. ^_^;; He continues to grow, and I'm sure he's over ten pounds by now. I'll find out for sure tomorrow when the Medicaid nurse comes. He also really hates being wet--more so even than being dirty. Dad says that's a good thing and will make potty-training easier when the time comes. We'll see, I guess.
I am mildly annoyed by my body. Just when I thought I was done with lochia, I have some pretty light and rather sporadic bleeding. I don't think it's resumed menses (since I'm nursing, I really shouldn't see any proper cycles until some time early next year), and I'm 99% sure it's not a health threat. It's just kind of annoying. Stupid body.
I'm a bad girl--I still haven't found child care for Adrian yet. ^_^;; Ah well.
...Neverwinter Nights 2 is out! I hear it's kinda wacky in regards to inventory, but still! NWN 2! SIXTEEN races to pick from (NWN 1 I think had seven premade ones, and a custom option as well)! I wanna play a dwelf, darn it! I wish I had it. I also wish I had time to play it. I wonder how well PC characters from NWN 1 can be imported into the new game. I kinda like my half-elven bard/rogue/dragon disciple. ^_^ ...I'm rambling.
