I got the new Grisham book for Mom, "Cool Hand Luke" and a boxed set of old John Wayne movies (all on DVD) for Dad, a nursing shirt for Jen, and a sleeper with convertible feet (covered feet or non-covered feet!) for Ryan. So, the last few days have been fun. dmoira came over Wednesday, and we played the boardgame Life twice, and were duly amused by the parallels that (at least the first one) arose between the boardgame and her Sims game (and to a much smaller extent, our actual lives). Thanksgiving overall went pretty well.
