Hmmm. Maybe midwives are different but there wasn't any poking and prodding except for 3 seconds when she checked if my uterus was where expected at this point. And then of course the listening for the heartbeat. Have you done that yet? It's very exciting.

Oh, it was more a figure of speech than the actual poking and prodding. :)

I had an ultrasound at 9wks. So very cool.
