Blaze, Sabina and Buns were part of the "cabal" forming groups. Tsi was absolutely awful for linking loot, talking about "easy" the instances are ( ... )

I don't think Tsi has ever thought before he spoke in his life. At least has made the realization that he sucks on Padwez and needs to work on it ( ... )

Mel has largely been doing his own runs with his own circle of people...I'm guessing folks he knows from his previous raiding days ( ... )

I've been putting the difficulty of the instance down to the fact that it's new progression for us, and that everyone still has to learn the best strategies. (Murmur was hard for me, once.)

But yeah, it's tough. At least it doesn't appear to be much harder in Heroic, which means I've got a chance at my new throwing knife.

I cannot imagine how hard the trash hits in heroic. We had a PMC with kara epics priest healing me in normal and if I was tanking the wrong 3-4 mobs I was often in severe danger of dying. Its very rare I have to pop last stand or a potion on trash, and I ran out of health pots and last stand was ALWAYS on cooldown it seemed.

I NEVER have to hit shield wall, but it was how we were beating vex.

Kael died to an ignite tick right before my shield wall ran out on a run too, running back to loot ftw.

I was on both nights, but I didn't see much. Of course I was sick as a dog yesterday, so I wasn't paying attention. I think the one thing I would point out to others is just ask if someone wants to go do it. I send a yell out yesterday and we got a group going. Yeah, we didn't end up finishing the instance, but I had fun and learned a lot. I would have probably done better if I wasn't sick, but it was fun.

Well, some of the unhappy people did that.

Malchelo, as an example, offered his services tanking on Corgoth OR if he was more useful on Mal he offered to heal too. He just wanted to see the inside of the place and have some fun with people he considers friends and he felt snubbed. Worse was when Kalif logged in on Aramiss and suddenly he gets an insta-invite.

It definitely was fun, though I'm glad we called it when we did. I was reaching my limit and would've been unable to control my mouth, and I think Tayah was also getting frustrated. You did really well, no need to take into account being sick.

We were rolling it this weekend after some not-so-good runs.

Being mage-less, we found a good combination of crowd control was to have the lock enslave the succubus and send her after a troublesome mob and to have the shadow priest mind control the Mage Guards. The stuns from them just get out of hand.

It's a real pain because most of the mobs are casters so to get them to focus on you can be an ordeal in and of itself. At least since they are casters, they can go down quick from some focused dps. The dots from them are brutal though.

There is a definite learning curve to the place and it demands a lot of coordination. I like it a lot. That last pull is a doozy though. :)
