Erich and I went to see two movies yesterday. The first was free called Diagnosing Difference . It was talking about GID being in the DSM-5. There were many big names in the trans community. No i know i'm not black and never have been but I went to go see Still Black: A Portrait of Black Transmen this weekend. Erich, Mel and I went to screen it with a random bunch of people as a part of the Queer People of Color summit in Madison. The whole experience has got me thinking. Cancer takes another one
well teagan called this morning real early. His mom passed away this morning from complication of having cancer. She has been dying for about a year. When i saw her last she was looking pretty sick and she had to put on a face for teagan's wedding. i am glad that he could be there for her the last couple days. she died in her own house with him ( Read more... )
