I live next door to a primary school and every morning they make this enormous racket. I can't see them, but their noise is right next to my windows, so I have to guess that it is that bizarre combination of exercises/fresh air/patriotism/percussion that you get in places of mass indoctrination. There's what sounds like a gramophone recording

She drinks the spare liquid out of the little plastic blister. I know that's disgusting but I can't really stop her, and now inevitably, when you're on the fast track to cat lady status like I most definitely am, it's become our little ritual. It's seriously the biggest, most exciting thing in her whole day.
