New year & Holidays

Dec 30, 2008 16:51

I have been pretty busy lately-- previously I was on a "vacation" of sorts that meant away time from the computer so I didn't update. I will get to those Holiday Requests in time, like I mentioned, it may be late and I don't know how good they will be, but I want to start finishing pictures. That can be like a new resolution-- as the year comes ( Read more... )

That's terrible about your car! :( Do you have a limited warranty or anything else that could protect you from absorbing the financial damages?

Car insurance comprehensive should fix it... but to have my car in the shop just for a windshield and a hood, I don't know. Either way, my father says it's fine, and since we're in California, it shouldn't rust from the area it hit my hood. We rarely get that humid here unlike in the eastern states. We'll see, for now I don't seem to mind it too much and it's so small that only I really notice it...

It still feels and smells new. It really is minimal in damage... I dunno, we'll see. I want to wait for the papers, my license plate, and all that to go through and solidify first.

here's alice http://www.paletweb.com/selectpage.asp?code=80000073

I didn't pay that much, at the time it was 7.99 or something.

So there's another Angeltype keychain of Alice or what? Or which Alice keychain were you referring to?

Oh no, Honey's car! It has its first scratch/dent, and it's all downhill from there. ;.;

At least with Shiny New Thing Syndrome all worn off, you can do whatever you want with it now? XD

Oh, it still drives, so whatever!!!!

Well, it's still a Shiny New Thing to me, the marks are really small... and no, not yet. I need to break in the engine for the first 1000 miles...

Oh, well, I guess engine wear is still important... But now you don't have to worry so much about banging things into it accidently? :D?

Another smaller and less strong rock hit it, right in my view, but I don't think anyone else would notice. Maybe it's just how the wheels grab or something, it didn't do that when I had the 15" wheels. I have 16" alloys now that look nice and make the car feel more studier and it started happening when I got these wheels. Oh well !

Well, I try to not bang things on it still... like other car doors and stuff. If it's on the window, people don't notice so much if it's so small, but if it's a scratch on the paint, a missing area of red is pretty noticeable.

Yes, but instead of with the controller, a multi-touch screen version of it... dunno how good it will be compared to the actual IIDX, but... hey, make play work, that's awesome.

Sounds like DJ Max Technika. I was at Sunnyvale Golfland this evening and they're having a location test of it.
