New year & Holidays
I have been pretty busy lately-- previously I was on a "vacation" of sorts that meant away time from the computer so I didn't update. I will get to those Holiday Requests in time, like I mentioned, it may be late and I don't know how good they will be, but I want to start finishing pictures. That can be like a new resolution-- as the year comes to an end, I want to be a better artist. I want to produce things. I want to draw a doujinshi, a comic, something... just anything.
For years I have been saying to do a website, a comic, a this, a that. I'm tired of talking about doing things, I want to do it.
How funny, since now I have even less time than ever to do things... but I'll do it. I'll do it even with that huge 8~10 hour block of my day gone. I'll do it somehow...! Bit by bit, it'll be better than nothing.
For a week, sakura_nek0 came to visit me, and afterward I went to Southern California with her to visit her on Christmas & her birthday. I also went to Disneyland, and the main attraction for me was the Haunted Mansion all dressed up with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. I love it. Images below taken by sakura_nek0...
I also hung out with moondabor and breadf !!!!!!! IT WAS AWESOME TIMES!!
I have some things I need to send in the mail, but they will be late. I won't specify who, you know who you are, they will be super late, okay. I need to get my butt to the post-office and send these things out...
Here's the suck part before I left on my vacation: my new car that I drove back home from the dealership had a rock hit the windshield (I was being nice and letting a guy enter the lane in front of me... and it happened.) I later discovered a part of my hood was hit too, and I had wondered why the windshield didn't break on me. Well, that's the reason why. The hood took up most of the force when I was driving on the freeway. My new car doesn't really seem so new anymore, but oh well. A rock is a rock. I now have a car that moves and a car that's mine. What else...
Oh, I got my yukkuri heads... they are... very creepy...... got my Alice rubber Angeltype keychain and Minh (moondabor) gave me a Reimu keychain and I love her........!!!! What else... Christmas presents? Uhh, my dad paid about 5K of my down payment for the car... uhh... I got two dvds, a Bidoof (biiidruuuoo doodoonbibuuu), Wall-E figurine, a cup from Kimberly, uhh... I can't remember what else I got. That must be it, then. I did get some things from Lyssette, but I think those are like Christmasbirthday things !! No relatives this year!
I showed my boss Beatmania IIDX and DJMAX TECHNIKA and he wants to reproduce a version of it here in the office sometime. Cool.
I had some arts to put up, but they are at home and it's no big deal, I already included a picture in this entry, so... until next time.
