Richard and Amadeo come in from New Orleans, and find a table to sit and wait for Louis.

Louis enters a few minutes after Lestat and Marius.

He has not tried to outdo anyone.

Richard walks in from the Staff Quarters, steps behind the bar, and ties on his apron. He shivers and makes himself a cup of tea.

"What'll it be."

The sun's just gone down in New Orleans when Armand enters Milliways, beaming from ear-to-ear.

He's dressed smart-casual: dark denims, smart black shoes, baby blue shirt that matches the ribbon tied in the hair at the nape of his neck.

He steps to the noticeboard, and tacks up a sign.

Louis enters Milliways, bringing a gust of cold air and a swirl of snowflakes with him. There is a wrapped gift under his arm, addressed to David; and a big smile on his face, as he has arrived here on purpose for the first time.

He inhales and looks around--and sees the notice.

His smile fades.

Louis enters Milliways with obvious pleasure, scanning the room with lively eyes and a small smile. He inhales deeply, and goes to the bar for a glass of wine.

There is a David in the bar.

There shouldn't really be, but there is.

David enters Milliways through the front door, carrying a large Starbucks cup. He looks around for familiar faces.

Seeing no one he knows, he slots himself into a booth in the dark corner, and watches the other patrons with a small look of longing on his face.
