Some weeks ago, Guinevere received this letter.

A great deal of her thoughts have been centered on it, since then, sent down new paths by her conversation with Brother Cadfael.

Finally, she has written a response, and earlier today, left it with Bar for Merlion to deliver.

*The harp music from beside the fire is an old hymn today, but Guinevere seems abstracted. Her fingers move over the strings automatically, though without stumbling.*

Time passes very differently inside and outside Milliways. This is a fairly well-known fact.
