After her bath yesterday, Mel slept for longer than she's ever slept at once, waking up when Mikey returned after happy hour, and then staying with him all night. The best night in well over a month.

Now the familiar sight of the damp haired Slayer has returned to your Milliways morning. She missed this.

Gaspode is in a talkative mood today and when this woman sits down next to him, he turns to say "hallo!"

Mel nods, cheerfully, setting her large breakfast of pancakes, sausages and bacon on the table.

"Hey. Not seen you around before. You new?"

[muddy_mutt]

"Yes, quite so. My name is Gaspode." He offers his hand. "How long have you been here?" Her breakfast is inspiring. Just thought of it, and another bacon sandwich manifests in front of him. Wonderful thing, that bar!

"Goodta meetcha, Gaspode," she says, shaking his hand. She has a firm grip. "When're you from?"

"Mel!" April exclaimed, and almost knocked over her coffee cup in her haste to remove herself from her stool and run over to the girl. She engulfed her in a hug.

She'd forgotten all about their previous disagreement, of course. None of that mattered. All that mattered was that Mikey would be happy. Besides, Mel was family.

Mel returns the hug, if a little awkwardly.

"Hey. Miss me?"

"Crap, girl, who cares about me? Have you seen Mikey?" April released her, grinning.

"'Course I have," Mel retorts with a good natured eye-roll. "Where y'think I've been since getting back?"

[general_lando]

Lando, sipping his stim tea, notices the young woman.

"Good morning," he says in a pleasant voice.

[slayer_fray]

"Mornin'" she returns with a smirk.

[general_lando]

He returns a smile.

"Lando Calrissian. I'm fairly new to the place. And you are?"

[slayer_fray]

"Mel Fray," she kicks out a chair in invitation. "Not new, really, although I've been gone about a" month "week.

"Pleasedta meetcha."

[nitro_is_ace]

Ace missed this as well.
"Mel!" Look, there's a pyro sitting next to her. Bouncing. Yes, once can bounce while sitting. If one is sufficiently excited and tweenagerish.

One certainly can. Mel, however, just grins widely.

"Hey, Sparky. Miss me?"

[nitro_is_ace]

"Sparky, Patches, I sound like a stray pup." Ace grouses, but can't stay away from grinning for too long.
"Yes, quite a lot. Have fun at home?"

[slayer_fray]

A smirk and a shrug.

"Yeah, it was rocketship. Gotta see my sister, get some Slaying done.

"It's home, y'know?"
