Thalia has been around. Really, she has and not just for not-dates! Like today, she's sitting in a booth and looking through catalogs of swimsuits. Some of the more recent ones are making her ears burn as she imagines herself in one but she kind of likes the ones from the 40s, 50s and 60s. Then she comes across the old catalogs and can't help but

Elrond slows down as he passes her booth, his eyes caught by ...

"What is that?" he inquires, looking genuinely puzzled.

[aigiochos]

"It's either a ball gown or a swimming suit. I'm not quite sure. Or did you mean this thing that is even indecent beneath clothes?" Yeah, Thalia has the catalogs strewn about the table so it be be either of those or something else completely...possible even the cheeseburger.

[starrydome]

"A swimming suit? - As in, clothes meant for swimming?"

What a strange concept.

Elrond leans forward a little to take a closer look. "I agree - that one is not wasting fabric."

He is looking quite regal today, dressed in grey silk and dark wool. The circlet isn't working against the look either.

[aigiochos]

"Yes...well it's better than swimming in you regular clothes right?" She says looking up and stops. One funny thing about being a daughter of the ruler of the Gods, you instinctively recognize those who rule. And this guy definitely rules, and not just because he thinks he does, but because he deserves to. She can't help the respectful nod she gives once she recognizes all this though, as a rule, she bows to no one.

"These are actually all from different times in my world. I was thinking of taking a friend swimming and didn't' have a suit so Bar offered these to me to chose from."

Ako prefers some concealment to her swim suit choices herself.

"Going swimming?"

[aigiochos]

"Thinking about it," Thalia says with a nod. "Ako right?" She really doesn't want to remember the demon bunny incident but Ako was very helpful.

[seat_five_girl]

"Yeah. I haven't been down to the beach since the notice about the mermaid that might eat people."

[aigiochos]

"Wait, a man eating mermaid?" Thalia is sitting bolt upright now.

Demeter grins at Thalia, "Making plans, dear?"

[aigiochos]

And of course Demeter would catch her looking at a number that is mostly strings with little else. And crocheted string at that. Thalia blushes and nods taking a sip of soda to cover her embarrassment.

"I'm thinking of inviting William to go swimming," she says once she's recovered.

"That should be fun though clothes tend to get in the way with that."

[aigiochos]

"That's why I'm looking at swimsuits," Thalia says in complete innocence. That's what Demeter meant right? "I don't have one and I didn't want to embarrass him by just going with a wet T-shirt."
