It's been a little while since Pavel last came into the bar, and he looks...well, he looks pretty much the same, all told. He sits down at the bar and recieves a mug of tea as he lets his shoulder bag drop to between his ankles

"I hear the cupcakes are delicious," says a smiling She-Hulk. "It might be an ill omen to ignore one offered by Bar. Is she teasing or tempting you?"

Jen sits a few stools away in her purple and white costume, a purple backpack on the floor next to her school. A laptop sits on the bar in front of her. It's processing power could run a platoon of Kree ships because Reed Richards built it for her specifically. Next to the laptop is a huge Shulkie-sized mug of beer.

"I do not think either," he says openly. "It says for my birthday, a few days ago."

Pavel himself is in his Academy reds, with a shoulder bag full of books and PADDS on the floor.

"Happy Birthday," is the reply. "I didn't know Bar kept track of birthdays. I certainly didn't get a cupcake. But I wasn't here on my birthday."

That's because she was with Jazinda and her adopted family, that being the Fantastic Four.

"You look like you're in uniform - are you in school?"

"I was not either," he says. "Mine was...almost a veek ago, ze elewenth of March."

He shrugs. "And yes, I am in Academy for Starfleet."

"That is a very festive pastry," Elrond remarks, seeing the cupcake.
He knows plenty of people who'd be enchanted with it, not all of them dwarves.

He chuckles. "It is. She seems to think my turning sixteen is wery important."

"You have had a birthday? Congratulations," Elrond says, smiling. "And sixteen is not a bad age."

"Yes," he says. "Nearly a week ago, but yes."

There is grumbling. Quiet grumbling, since it's something of an old rant, and he's learned to keep it down to a low roar.

But it definitely has something to do with 'those God-damned idiots at StarFleet Command have lost their minds'. Yup.

Pavel swivels around towards McCoy, head cocked.

"Vhat have zey done now?"

[notabricklayer]

That earns him a raised eyebrow, and a 'you must be kidding me' look.

He saw that cake.

Unimpressed McCoy is unimpressed.

"You are surprised I am only sixteen? Or just unhappy with zis fact?"
