It's been a little while since Pavel last came into the bar, and he looks...well, he looks pretty much the same, all told. He sits down at the bar and recieves a mug of tea as he lets his shoulder bag drop to between his ankles

"I hear the cupcakes are delicious," says a smiling She-Hulk. "It might be an ill omen to ignore one offered by Bar. Is she teasing or tempting you?"

Jen sits a few stools away in her purple and white costume, a purple backpack on the floor next to her school. A laptop sits on the bar in front of her. It's processing power could run a platoon of Kree ships because Reed Richards built it for her specifically. Next to the laptop is a huge Shulkie-sized mug of beer.

"I do not think either," he says openly. "It says for my birthday, a few days ago."

Pavel himself is in his Academy reds, with a shoulder bag full of books and PADDS on the floor.

"Happy Birthday," is the reply. "I didn't know Bar kept track of birthdays. I certainly didn't get a cupcake. But I wasn't here on my birthday."

That's because she was with Jazinda and her adopted family, that being the Fantastic Four.

"You look like you're in uniform - are you in school?"

"I was not either," he says. "Mine was...almost a veek ago, ze elewenth of March."

He shrugs. "And yes, I am in Academy for Starfleet."

Starfleet Academy?!

She's talking to someone from Starfleet? She has to physically quell her inner Star Trek fansquee.

"What are you studying? I'm Jen, by the way. Nice to meet you."

"I am training to be a nawigation officer and science officer," he says with smile. "I am Pavel," he greets.

"Chekov, if zat is easier. Is vhat most people call me."

A Pavel Chekov that looks like he's eleven years old.

"I've already been trained as a lawyer. Are you studying in school? Here's to doing well in school."

She raises her glass in a toast.

Sixteen, but he's young, yes. And baby-faced. But he can't help that one.

"I hawe already attended ze mandatory schooling," he says. "Primary and secondary schools, and a year in an astrophysics conserwatory in St. Petersburg."
