Two suprise!ladies by the bar

It is that time of year again, as decorations around the bar show. That is probably why the tall blond man clattering down the stairs, laughing, followed by a white-and-brown dog turns into a tall, blonde woman clattering down the stairs, cursing, followed by an irritated and barking dog. "Shhhh, Franz, you idiot, it's me!" she tells the animal;

Not long after, Moist comes down the stairs yawning and spots Franz sulking,

"What's wrong with you?"

Franz jumps up and runs towards Moist, wagging his tail while giving an unhappy little whine and begging for cuddles.

All is not well in this dog's world!

Moist leans down to give Franz some scritches and sits down so he can order his coffee,

"Now, now, I'm sure whatever it is isn't that bad."

Well, it's not that bad now his Other Human is here to take care of Franz.

Because his Human is strangely lost, but at least there's still another one.

Franz puts his face in Moist's lap and sniffs, and wags his tail.

All is well there and as it should be.

If Thalia had seen the transformations she would have felt much better about her clothes. As it is she didn't but she has noticed a dog wander near her spot by the fire and she wonders if he's a normal dog or something more. You never can tell hereabouts.

"Hello," she says just in case.

The dog wags his tail and lies down by the fire, with a sigh and a little whine.

Things are so odd just now!

She wonders if dogs wander into Milliways like people do.

"You here by yourself?" she asks and waves for a waitrat. "Can I get a bowl of water and a couple of dog biscuits?" She's fine with the cider but dogs usually need water. At least Argo always did...she squashes that thought before it becomes uncomfortable.

The dog laps the water gratefully, and wags his tail at the smell of dog food.

The tall, wiry strong man offers a nod to both women, as he takes a seat at the bar. "Ladies."

"Greetings," the dark-haired woman says, nodding back.

"Hello," says the blonde, smiling.

Urquhart has met this man before, but would probably not spar with him in his present shape, which is her shape.

Teja hasn't.

Well, Wren has no idea he met any of the ladies under another guise, so, he is more than happy with returning the smile to the blonde. "I'm Eliezer Wren." Because introductions are just polite, right?

"You can call me Angie," says the blonde, sticking to the silly name Teja had given her in the other continuity.
