If Thalia had seen the transformations she would have felt much better about her clothes. As it is she didn't but she has noticed a dog wander near her spot by the fire and she wonders if he's a normal dog or something more. You never can tell hereabouts.

The dog wags his tail and lies down by the fire, with a sigh and a little whine.

Things are so odd just now!

She wonders if dogs wander into Milliways like people do.

"You here by yourself?" she asks and waves for a waitrat. "Can I get a bowl of water and a couple of dog biscuits?" She's fine with the cider but dogs usually need water. At least Argo always did...she squashes that thought before it becomes uncomfortable.

The dog laps the water gratefully, and wags his tail at the smell of dog food.

She puts a biscuit near the dish and sits back trying to see if he has a collar.

He doesn't. He doesn't need one, here.

The dog takes the biscuit and wags his tail, quite politely.

Once he's eaten she'll offer her hand for introductions and then if he's friendly she'll give a pet.

And the dog is quite friendly.

He's glad for the attention, as his proper Human has gone strange.-

She pats the side of the couch near her to see if the dog would like a little company. She won't push though.

Oh yes, he does!

He jumps up, and looks at her soulfully.

She laughs at the look and gives him another biscuit. He feels nice and warm so she's content to let him stay as long as he doesn't interrupt her reading, Achilles has just gotten over his sulk and the real fighting is about to begin.

He doesn't interrupt her.

On the contrary, he puts his head in her lap and goes to sleep, snoring softly.
