Two suprise!ladies by the bar

Mar 05, 2011 20:41

It is that time of year again, as decorations around the bar show. That is probably why the tall blond man clattering down the stairs, laughing, followed by a white-and-brown dog turns into a tall, blonde woman clattering down the stairs, cursing, followed by an irritated and barking dog. "Shhhh, Franz, you idiot, it's me!" she tells the animal; but the dog, basing his judgement on smell, decides that his human isn't supposed to smell female, wanders over to the fireplace, and sulks.

"So much for man's best friend," the blonde murmurs, wandering over to the bar and orders a glass of wine. This might become awkward.

On the other hand, this might become a lot of fun.

The tall black-haired man coming in the front door with a little grey cat on his shoulder, waving good-bye to somebody remaining in the rainy day beyond it, stumbles on closing the door and finding himself, suddenly, in leathers and high boots, and female. "Oh no, not again," she murmurs when she feels her centre of gravity shift. Oh brilliant, awkward breasts again!

The cat, however, is sensible enough to realise that the human he was riding just now is still the human he is riding this very moment, despite certain changes.

The dark-haired lady walks over to the bar, where she orders a large glass of strong cider. Right beside her is a blonde who seems unpleasantly familiar, even though Teja would have sworn he's never seen her in his life or afterlife.

The blonde smirks at the cat.

"It is you," Teja states, displeased. A sideways glance shows her the sturdy dog by the fire. "And it has been proven now that the thinking ability of cats surpasses that of dogs."

The blonde, who is certainly Urquhart, scowls.

"I shall not tell about you, if you tell not on me," Teja suggests.

Urquhart drinks to that, and Teja follows suit.

"Want some flirting tips?" the blonde suggests, and the dark-haired lady scowls.
