John turns and gives the young man a slow head-to-toe once-over. Then he drags on his smoke and says, "Pull the other, mate. It's got bells on."

Oh, John is well aware of this lad's looks, never doubt that. ;)

He glances over at the bar and sees there's noone behind it. So he just says, "Look here, sunshine, just cut the cack and tell me how to get out of here."

"Yeah, that's what most people say."

The commenter is tall, very red-headed (ginger would be a gross understatement), and dressed in head-to-toe black leather. And grinning. Axel likes the way people react to the Window.

John turns to the newcomer, looks him up and down, and says with pure bravado, "I take it this ain't the Roxy."

His voice is heavily accented with what most non-Brits would (erroneously) call "cockney" and Brits would recognize as Liverpool with London on top.

"Nope. Milliways," Axel replies. "The End Of The Universe," he adds after a moment. He's unfazed by the other man's bravado; he's seen enough of it - used enough of it - himself.

"The end of the universe?" John grins. "Like Hampstead Heath?"

John gives a little twitch and scratches the back of his neck, then gives the place a long look around. There are lots of people in the bar, and Seimei is one of the most "normal" looking. So John doesn't pay any attention to him.

John faces him, narrows his eyes. He twitches and scratches his neck again. He approaches Seimei and says cautiously, "Sorry, squire. You've got the wrong bloke."

There's a man, or a man-shaped being watching the display in amusement, though the only indication of that is a faint smirk just barely turning up the corners of his lips.

For the moment, he's just sitting at a table near the fire, sipping a glass of wine and watching.

John has no idea.

[OOC: LOL! This is a couple of years before John loses Astra. I don't think he's had anything to do with more than a couple of minor demons. FUN FOR ALL!]

Oh, Lucifer knows.

And he knows he can have a little fun with this.

"Enjoying the view?"

[ooc: Excellent. *steeples fingers*]

John turns away from the window and eyes the man warily. "S'all right, I guess," he says with a shrug, trying to project that he's seen it all and nothing impresses him.

There's a guy in the corner of the room. He's wearing a hoodie and staring at the newcomer with a grim expression. Yup, that's how it happened too. Well, with less of a Liverpool accent, and different swear words.

There are lots of people in the bar, and the guy with the hoodie looks "normal" by human standards. John doesn't even notice him.

Well, for someone who's used to the strange and unusual, John should notice him. Especially if he was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Alex's arms emitting strange red and black vines from his arms.

John really should take notice.

Unless they're moving, they're just tattoos. But what the hey; John looks around and notices him. What now? ;)
