It's been a long cycle. Bob spent most of it alternating between trying to get Mairi to eat solid foods and trying to keep her from chewing on things she shouldn't be. He half-walks, half-staggers into Milliways with the intent of getting a drink before going to bed

"Maybe you're supposed to have a portable heat source, and melt it into place wherever you happen to need a pulley?" offers a boy in green.

"I guess... why a chicken, though?"

Felix considers this for a bit. "Perhaps to identify it? Or maybe the makers thought it would be funny?"

"Or just had too much time on their hands."

And still that's a lot better than what his brother-in-law now is. You still look more or less like yourself.

Canine snuffling at the chicken now in progress. Maybe at the one holding it, too, to see if there is a smell [Matrix didn't go matter when he was changed].

Neither did Bob, as it happens. Does wolf!Matrix know what Bob smells like?

"Woah, woah, easy there--" He blinks. "Matrix??"

Um. Well. He does now. In that canine definition, you understand.

He backs off promptly.

"That... yikes. Did you come in from the Game? That happens sometimes..."

Enzo approaches just in time to hear (and see) this last bit.

"I thought your costume made more sense than mine. Now I dunno."

Bob blinks at Enzo's scarf. "How is it staying up?"

"Crashed if I know, man. I think it thinks there's wind."

"It's a scarf. how can it think anything?"
