It's been a long cycle. Bob spent most of it alternating between trying to get Mairi to eat solid foods and trying to keep her from chewing on things she shouldn't be. He half-walks, half-staggers into Milliways with the intent of getting a drink before going to bed

Enzo approaches just in time to hear (and see) this last bit.

"I thought your costume made more sense than mine. Now I dunno."

Bob blinks at Enzo's scarf. "How is it staying up?"

[a1enzo]

"Crashed if I know, man. I think it thinks there's wind."

[mend_and_defend]

"It's a scarf. how can it think anything?"

[a1enzo]

"I dunno, Milliways?"

[mend_and_defend]

"Oh...kay, fair enough."

[a1enzo]

"And you've got a... what?"

[mend_and_defend]

"A rubber chicken. With a pulley in the middle." He holds the offending item at arm's length.

Enzo takes it and stares at it. "What the f... what is that for?"

[mend_and_defend]

"I. Don't. Know."

[a1enzo]

"What else have you got in there?"

And does it beat the Gag Bag Enzo got his first Hallowe'en?

"Uh... lemmie see..." He reaches into the pocket again and starts rummaging around. There's more room in there than you'd figure. Bob starts pulling out items one by one: a yellow flower, a staple remover, a half-finished tube of breath mints, a can of gopher repellent, a pair of wax lips, a shovel (how did that fit in there??)...

Enzo boggles and laughs.

"Got any anvils?"

"I don't think I do..."

A box of cereal, a golden idol, a handful of gunpowder, a red fish, a stack of brochures...

[a1enzo]

"Oooh." Enzo examines the idol. "Pixelacious."

One would think it would have poked in uncomfortable places.

"Careful, it's heavy."

Bob's a little surprised he could carry it at all, frankly.
