Demeter had asked Bar for help with finding plants for Malcolm's garden and got some rather amazing pictures.

She's currently turning one of a cucumber round to see what makes it grow that shape.

"Demeter!" Teja says, turning up beside her. "What would you wish to do with that? Is it not somewhat large?"

Perhaps, the Goth has just made a lewd joke, as a tribute to his friend and the domain she rules; or maybe cucumbers were simply smaller in his time...

"I'm trying to figure out how to grow a naughty garden for Malcolm and Bar kindly gave me these rather amazing pictures."

"Ahhh - so it is meant to look that way!" Teja says, nodding. "Can you not merely command a plant to grow whatever shape you wish it to? You are the goddess of plants!"

"That's cheating and I never like to cheat with the plants in my own garden. There are times when that extra nudge is needed but this is a challenge."

Demeter can have the company of a golden-haired teen if she wants. If she doesn't, she's got him anyway. Not that he's too intrusive, he just happens to be looking her way and giving the cucumber a curious stare.

"Oh hey, those things are great body rehydrators. Does wonders for your skin." His mind is out of the gutter enough to think of beauty tips before anything else.

"I've always enjoyed them. I just wish I could figure out what make it become that particular shape."

Demeter points out the shape as she shows Ryan the picture,

"Also the only person I've ever known with that great a penis is Pan and he's always showing it off."

A small laugh, and then a sudden pause.

.. Wait, what?

Did she just say what he thinks she said? He was so just there to talk about the wonders of cucumbers in beauty salons.

"Yeeeah, I did notice that."

Demeter turns to him with a more considering look,

"What did you notice, dear?"

"A poor substitute, wouldn't you agree?" Pan was peering over her shoulder at the vegetable with a beaming smile on his bearded face. Somebody is in a very, very good mood.

"Or is this a different way to check the harvest, Great-aunt?"

Pan gets a rather large hug,

"I'm making a garden for Malcolm. Now tell me what's got you so happy."

Happy hug and bleat back from the faun god.

"Oh, simply a wonderful mortal I met. Very clever with a love for music and dance."

He found a seat nearby that he could lounge in.

"And how is your favored one?"

"Working too much as always. Oh, they sound charming. Tell me all about them."
