She's sipping from a glass of milk. There's a straw.
And eventually--
"Hello."
Beat.
"You can order more than one thing. It is okay."

Hawkeye turns, at the voice. His face is aimed just over her shoulder.
"Hi there," he says. "I would, but I'm trying to watch my figure."

"--The multiple orders, that is. Not the figure-watching."

If X were a little more literal-minded, she might be confused as to how he could watch anything.
But as it is--
"You are not okay."
Beat.
"You have not been to the infirmary? Here?"

There are also her snakes, hissing softly amongst her hair, but more than their sound is - if you pay attention - their scent. A dry, musty smell that blends in with the smell of her gold feathers.
But, for a dose of normality, her hands smell of bread and lamb and spice from her lunch.
Still, Medusa isn't aware-aware of everything, so when she smells Mulcahy, she jumps slightly.
"Oh. Hey! Um, I didn't...know you were here."
(her voice is clear, sweet as a flute and just as human)

"Only just got here," says Hawkeye cheerfully, turning his face toward her. "Would you do me the honor of putting a name to the voice?"

(Hawkeye would blink, if he had full use of his eyes. As he does not, he stays facing the same direction, for a moment -- then turns toward Mulcahy and 'stares' at him.)
"Hawkeye, this is Medusa," says Mulcahy, painfully aware of the surprised, bemused 'look' that Hawkeye is giving him. "Medusa, this is Hawkeye Pierce."

"Um, pleased to you meet you, Hawkeye Pierce."

She is, however, currently neglecting both in favour of staring wide-eyed at Hawkeye and Mulcahy.
"Dude, Mr Hawkeye, what's with the blindfold?"
