After all, the bar's got great central air. Or whatever it is that keeps this place comfortable.

Los Angeles is pretty wonderful, but not during the summer months. That's when the heat is at it's hottest and just because he can take it doesn't mean he wants to. As such, when the door opens from the family restaurant, he doesn't so much walk ( Read more... )

Axel's mostly paying just enough attention to the people in-bar to register Nobody and not-Nobody. Most of his attention is turned inward, but there's just enough outside to give a nod to somebody he knows.

Ramirez may notice the distinct lack of head-to-toe black leather, and he may notice Axel's somewhat withdrawn state.
