There was a period of time in which Madolyn thought the door wouldn't come back, and it had all been a weird dream of some sort. A dream that didn't explain a lot of what had been carried back into her own world. Needless to say, there's a certain amount of relief on her face as she comes into Milliways today. Athena has company in the form of a small, very blue bird.

He chirps at her.

The chirp is received with a very bright smile.

There is the temptation to put out her hand for him, but then again, such a move might be taken as condescending.

So, instead, "Yiá sas!"

Athena makes a face at the bird, feeling, for some reason or other, very much younger.

She makes to get to her feet, but by the time she's up, she's no longer in a humanoid form.

There is, instead, a collared scops-owl, who hoots right back.

A young woman is curiously looking at the collection of test-tubes, wondering whether she really should wake the man up.

Well, if anything, he might want to find somewhere comfier to sleep.

She taps his shoulder.

Initially, Jekyll only gives a very reluctant sort of twitch. After a moment, however, he straightens up, one hand on the table, the other rubbing at his eyes.

He turns to look at Chuck as quickly as he can, half-apologetic smile on his features.

"Hel-- hello. I'm terribly sorry, do you need this table?"

"Hi," she replies, before shaking her head.

"Nope. I just thought you might want to find a bed to sleep in. It's a lot comfier than a booth."

Concern isn't something he's often on the receiving end of, and as a result he seems a little surprised, but pleasantly so.

"Thank you," Jekyll says, giving a small laugh. "I should.. I should be awake, anyway."

Then, putting out his hand, "Dr. Henry Jekyll, at your service."
