A dream that didn't explain a lot of what had been carried back into her own world. Needless to say, there's a certain amount of relief on her face as she comes into Milliways today. Athena has company in the form of a small, very blue bird.

He chirps at her.

The chirp is received with a very bright smile.

There is the temptation to put out her hand for him, but then again, such a move might be taken as condescending.

So, instead, "Yiá sas!"

Hello!

[father_sky]

Chirp chirp! goes the bird, who hops and flicks his wings at her.

[lady_of_athens]

Athena makes a face at the bird, feeling, for some reason or other, very much younger.

She makes to get to her feet, but by the time she's up, she's no longer in a humanoid form.

There is, instead, a collared scops-owl, who hoots right back.

[father_sky]

"Ah."

The bird sounds amused. It also sounds a lot like Ouranos!

"The wise owl."

[lady_of_athens]

"A small owl, too," Athena points out.

"Surely you weren't expecting anything different."

[father_sky]

"Of course."

Ouranos has nothing to say for his own small size.

It's mostly more convenient to be small than it is to be large.

[lady_of_athens]

Come on.

Look how cute the owl is.

"It's nice out, though. Maybe a bit humid for flying."

[father_sky]

The Jay stretches his wings out and makes a disapproving noise.

"Summer."

[lady_of_athens]

"It's not all bad."

[father_sky]

"For you, maybe."

Beat.

"Up for some flying?"
