Belle had been waiting for him to come into bar for a couple days now, so almost as soon as he got settled she wandered over, sliding into a chair across from him.

"Hey. Somet'in' wrong?"

He smiled then, shaking his head, "Non, not'in' comp'ny an' coffee won' fix anyway. How y'been cherie?"

Because he'd been out of the bar for a day or two, he hadn't gotten any messages, nor had he picked them up when he'd gotten back just a few minutes previous, relying on a waitrat for coffee.

"Bon." She noted, smiling at him warmly. "Got engaged."

Best to just have it out.

It was a good thing his coffee hadn't arrived yet, because that would've been a good way to get it into his sinuses.
