Belle had been waiting for him to come into bar for a couple days now, so almost as soon as he got settled she wandered over, sliding into a chair across from him.
He smiled then, shaking his head, "Non, not'in' comp'ny an' coffee won' fix anyway. How y'been cherie?"
Because he'd been out of the bar for a day or two, he hadn't gotten any messages, nor had he picked them up when he'd gotten back just a few minutes previous, relying on a waitrat for coffee.
He thought that over for a moment, head tilting, then he shrugged, thanking the waitrat that brought his coffee, "A'right t'en." A smile, "M'happy for y', I really am."
That got an arched eyebrow, while Belle asked for a coffee herself. "It's okay t' be upset, yano. I mean, I'm not 'spectin' y' t' give us y' blessin' o' not'in'. I jes' di'n' want y' t' find out de wrong way."
The smile was just a little more sincere the second time through, "Non, m'not upset." He shrugged, "Know y'can do bettern' me anyway, an' always said we made better friends, hell, s'what we tried t'tell t'rest of 'em."
Belle sighed, and accepted her coffee from the waitrat before continuing. "Shufflin' off dis inter-dimensional coil. 'S freaky as hell, 'n' de Guild's pissed at me f'r bein' away so much."
Granted, she wasn't going to leave Milliways again until her wedding reception, but that didn't count.
"Hey. Somet'in' wrong?"

Then she shakes her head and shrugs. "Doubt it, though. He's a starfighter, so prolly got enough killin' done already."
