She's tired, and dusty, and frankly it's been a very long day - her teacher has been drilling her in that dratted whip thing.

He can use it quite a deal better than she can. At least, nine times out of ten, she's no longer hitting herself with it on the backlash.

The front door opens, allowing in one lithe twi'lek, for once not in Jedi clothing. She actually looks more like a spacer at this point - and somewhat uncomfortable with it, moving awkwardly as she closes the door and leans on it.

And finally, after what's turned out to be a long couple days, she allows herself to look what she feels - shell-

The door opens, and one very dusty padawan walks through, looking fairly whipped. A dust storm has rolled into camp, making everything (including the food) a bit gritty and a lot nasty. This means that when her quarters turn into a bar, she's not at all displeased.

A little too dirty for her surroundings.

But not displeased.

Laranth and her Master are even more at odds than before - she keeps questioning the basic tenets of the Jedi Order as they start failing to make sense to her; her master, knowing what path lies before her, pushes her harder, knowing she won't be under his care for much longer ( Read more... )
