Jack is curled up in an armchair, hanging onto her tea like a comfort blanket and looking mildly upset.

Life couldn't just stay normal for five minutes, could it?

Parker sits down across, legs spread open.

"What's up?"

"Johnny thinks he might be gay."

Fuck. Fuck.

"Bastard. Parker, if you take me dancing I'll wear a really short skirt and high heels."

[misterparker]

Parker blinks and holds out his hand.

"Here or in Italy? Or in our room?" he leers.

[_to_the_bone]

"Actually dancing. In Italy. I don't think we've ever gone to a club together, have we? I used to go lots when I was with the ballet and I miss it."

She puts her hand in his.

"I think Johnny just has a fever. Or something. Probably."

There's a bit of nymph leaning over the back of the chair and looking far less startled than this sort of thing might have called for yesterday. But not so much today - today she's got it pretty much covered.

Her head cants to the side.

"You too?"

"I did it on purpose, so I'm a lot less startled than everyone else."

She shakes her head.

"It's rather funny."

She tugs lightly at a lock of Jack's hair and winds her arms lazily around her neck.

"Is it terribly strange?"

"My balance is different, bras are horrible, my hair catches in everything and I want to cry sometimes."

Does it surprise anyone that Jack is a hormonal girl?

"But not terrible."

She gets hugged from behind.

He doesn't let go.

She nearly drops her tea!

"Who's there?"

[cheevy]

He smiles a little.

"Hi, Rose."

"Miniver! You're you again!"

Jack laughs. Almost not jealously.
