At least Henry doesn't have baggage he's dragging behind him tonight. That doesn't shake the alarmed expression on his face when he enters Milliways Bar for only the second time in his life.
"All I wanted to do was go to work," Henry mopes, pushing up his glasses with one finger.
She's never met this guy before in her life, but she already knows something is really wrong with him.
"You'd rather go to work than the bar at the end of the universe? Unless you have a job as, like, a porn star or chocolate taster or something that's really wrong."
"Inventive. I wanted something we could have a good laugh about afterwards, and no one, including darling Riddlia, actually got hurt. So you totally can't say it was nasty."

She also approves of it.
"Whatever you're doing, I want in."
Beat.
"Hi, I'm Shalla."
Reply
Lilly's smile widens.
"I like that attitude. I'm Lilly."
Reply
Shalla falls into a seat near Lilly's, grinning back.
"I do indeed."

Lilly glances around the bar, checking for what passes as authority figures in Milliways.
"And may not be entirely within the spirit of general bar rules."

"It's only my third day, and I need to be on-time; I'm still probationary."
As an addendum, "I'm a CPA. Chocolate tasters get paid next to nothing."

Lilly smiles politely at him.
"Where are you accounting at, then?"
Reply
"That kind of smile and bottle," She has a playful smirk. "I'm betting there's a plan somewhere behind it, too?"

Lilly laughs a little.
"I kinda suck at the covert part of all this, I think."

"I'm used to getting to see that look a lot at home."
No. Really. She didn't just compare Lilly to Robin.
Because that would be wrong.

"Really?"
Lilly looks intrigued.

However, he has time to say hello to a former spouse.
"Well, well, if it isn't Mrs. Riddle. How is our dear little Riddlia?"
He looks stern and thoroughly unamused but for the twitch about the corner of his lips.

"Doing much better since she realized her name is actually Aria. How's my cad of an ex-husband?"

"Good evening--Lilly, yes?"
Reply
He gets a smile back.
"Inigo, right?"
Like she doesn't know. Still, this is the one polite thing Lilly regularly sticks to in Milliways.

She remembered his name! And he remembered her name correctly.
"I hope you have been well? It's been some time since we spoke."
Why he's gone so long without speaking to her again is beyond Inigo, at the moment.

Lilly nods at the bar stool beside her.
"Have a seat, we can catch up. Want anything to drink?"
