She does have a trustworthy look, but Lilly has learned to be extremely careful with her tiny bottle now.
"Well," she starts to say, holding it up, "I can't say exactly, but-"
Milliways is a crowded place. That's already gotten Lilly in trouble once (please see marriage, accidental; gin, spillage of; Jack Sparrow, inconveniently lucid moments;) and now, as someone jostles her arm in passing, it happens again.
Drops of love-in-idleness fly free, splashing both Lilly and Shalla's eyes.
...Shalla's got really pretty eyes, Lilly notes, and wonders absently why she's holding some random bottle before putting it in her pocket so she can keep staring at Shalla.
Whatever Shalla's eyes are, Lilly's are better. In every way possible. They are bright and gorgeous and they're ... Lilly's eyes, and Shalla really can't think of a higher compliment than that.
Shalla's having the same problem Lilly is. But she doesn't have to come up with questions or small talk -- which is good, because she'd about die if she ever looked stupid in front of Lilly -- she just has to answer.
"A planet called Ingo."
After a moment of building up courage, Shalla dares to skate her fingers across Lilly's hand.
"Not too bad of a place, if you like beaches. Which I do. God, I used to spend as much time in the sun as possible. By the pool or the ocean, didn't matter."
And now she's thinking of Shalla at a pool, and more specifically Shalla in a bikini, and... yeah.
She also approves of it.
"Whatever you're doing, I want in."
Beat.
"Hi, I'm Shalla."

Lilly's smile widens.
"I like that attitude. I'm Lilly."
Reply
Shalla falls into a seat near Lilly's, grinning back.
"I do indeed."

Lilly glances around the bar, checking for what passes as authority figures in Milliways.
"And may not be entirely within the spirit of general bar rules."

"I'm very good with secrets."

"Kriff."

Kriff, indeed.

Her gaze flicks back up. "Yeah ... good."
Maybe better than good, really.

"So, Shalla..." She trails off.
Damnit, I used to be good at this!
It's just that Shalla's so beautiful, and smart, and talented and her mouth... well.
"That's a really pretty name. Where- where are you from?"
God. I'm going to be carrying a watermelon in another minute.

"And my name is nowhere near as pretty as yours."
Reply
"That's- that's really sweet of you to say."
Lilly captures Shalla's fingers, glancing down and then back up again.
"Ingo, huh?"
She's starting to feel a little more assured, now.
"Well, wherever that is, I'm really glad you found your way here."
Reply
"So am I."
It's still hard to talk, because she feels like there's something blocking her throat.
"Where'd you, uh, wander in from?"

Lilly smiles.

She pauses, because that doesn't sound right.
Shaking her head. "It sounds beautiful. You are beautiful."
There.
Reply
"God, you're just-"
She takes a deep breath.
"I know we've only just met, but it doesn't even matter because, well. Nothing matters to me but you, Shalla."
