Her hands are trembling, she notes, and when she looks in the mirror Roslin sees that her face is drawn. "I look like--"

A dying woman. She stops that train of thought quickly ( Read more... )

Especially because Bill Adama is at the bar with a cup of coffee looking rather...stunned.

He stands. His eyes are on her. He doesn't move. Not yet.

"I must need sleep more than I thought."

She takes her glasses off and pinches the bridge of her nose, then puts them very carefully back on again.

She hasn't seen him yet.

He's not close enough to hear that. He can see the movement.

Carefully Adama leaves his coffee behind, and approaches, hands clasped behind his back.

"Madam President." Formally.

(He feels the lack of his glasses.

He'll never admit it.)

She turns quickly to face him.

"Commander Adama." Roslin looks exhausted, and worried.

"What are you doing here? Has something else happened?"

There is a tall, skinny man in a threadbare coat blinking at her from not very far away.

He is not quite frowning.

"You are lost, perhaps?"

Blink.

"It is a thing that happens here, I think. Sometimes."

"I shouldn't be lost. I'm in my own quarters."

She sounds bemused.

"I'm dreaming. Hallucinating."

Raven snorts.

Then he pokes her in the stomach.

This time it is not very hard.

"You are certain of that, yes?"

Roslin takes a quick step backwards, glaring at him.

"I'll thank you to keep your fingers to yourself, sir."

Sitting close to the door is a young kid of about ten years of age eating traditional Portugese tarts and reading comic books. Not the best picks of food for the kid, but none of George's parents are there so he's not to upset of spoiling his dinner much.

When the door opens and another person enters, Luz gives her the widest of polite smiles that he can muster. "Hi!" It seems he has also never met a stranger either..

"Hello."

Tired or not, her smile is warm.

At least the lady seemed nice enough unlike that strage police officer from earlier, so George is more than willing to try to make conversation with the seemingly new arrival. "Are you new here too?"

Well, George wasn't exactly new since he'd been here before playing a game of tag but it was his first day being introduced to the place. Reaching over he picks up one of the tarts from his plate and takes a bite before looking down at the remaining pastry then back to Roslin. WIth a full mouth he asks, "Would you like one?"

"That's very kind of you, but you go ahead," she tells him. "Thank you, all the same."
