It just so happens that a certain fairy waltzes by, balancing in one hand a nutritious snack of peppercorn dipped in honey. He'd tried chocolcate-covered chives earlier, but hadn't much cared for the combination.

The sight of the sign makes him grin.

"At last, the much-awaited day draws nigh."

Lilly swivels in his direction.

"About damn time, right? I'll be so glad when all this is ov-"

She pauses, nose wrinkling as she spots his snack.

"Uh, what is that, and is it even edible?"

[puckishly]

Puck is hurt by her doubting face.

"I enjoy it," he replies, most dignified. "'Tis sweet and full of spice all at once."

Adding helpfully, "Peppercorn and honey."

"Peppercorn and honey?"

Lilly looks highly dubious, yes. But also intrigued. Puck is probably familiar with that type of expression.

"Okay, I have to try that. It's not going to make me turn into a donkey, is it?"

She bumps into someone as she leans against the bar, an elbow lightly tapping a surprisingly warm stomach: There's a small, wordless protest from behind her, and the sudden scent of cigarettes and summer peaches.

"Careful, Lilly," Meg's papi laughingly chides. "Wouldn't do to damage the merchandise, hm?"

Lilly blinks, startled, but her expression changes to a smile when she turns around.

"Aw, you know I'd never do that... unless, of course, the merchandise made a special request."

Desire's eyebrows arch slightly, the Endless giving Lilly a playful, thoughtful look. "Vraiment? -- I'll have to keep that in mind."

Lilly's sudden companion leans over her shoulder slightly, pulling a bunch of orange flowers seemingly from the air and offering them to her. "Congratulations, by the way."

"Flowers, for me?"

Lilly accepts them happily, lifting the blossoms to her face.

"Tiger Lilies, even. Wow, it's like you're really good at this or something."

Well. Chalk this up to yet another thing Chloe failed to tell Clark when she brought him here.

"Delicate... flowers?" Clark isn't sure he wants to know.

Lilly smiles ever so sweetly at Clark.

"That's the name of my club, yeah. You haven't heard of it before? I'm a little hurt."

"It's nothing personal," he is quick to assure her, with a smile of his own. "I'm still pretty new around here. That and, well, clubs aren't really my thing." So says the kid who spends most of his free time in a barn.

"Ohhh, new. That makes me feel better, I'd hate to think my advertising wasn't working."

Lilly tilts her head.

"I'm Lilly, by the way. DeadNeptuneCaliforniaEarth2005. What's your name, and what's with the not liking clubs?"

"Well, aren't you just the enterprisin' business owner." Asks a certain British pyro, sipping something... fruity. And yellowish.

Hey, she's been having some good times post-pineapple. There is no sense messing with a fantastic thing.

"Yes, I am," Lilly says.

There may be a hint of smug.

"Aren't you the entreprising... fruity drink sipping pyro I haven't seen in way too long? How's it going?"

[nitro_is_ace]

"Just dandy." Ace returns with her own smug. Hers is a superior form of smug.

Or something.

"Fantastic, y'might say."

"Oh, you might?"

Ace is getting eyed, because, well. That is some serious smug going on right there.

"Do tell."

Nathan hadn't heard of any such place. He went over to study it curiously.

"Grand Opening, huh?" He commented out loud as he read the sign.

"Grand Opening," Lilly confirms with a smile.

"It's going to be a fantastic party. Everyone adult in bar is invited, whether I know them or not. And while I don't know you, you look pretty adult to me. You should come."

Nathan considered that, "...Maybe."

He then introduced himself, and offered his hand with a smile, "I'm Nathan, New York, October 2006, and I've only been in and out here for the past five or six months now. Nice to meet you."

Lilly shakes his hand cheerfully.

"Nice to meet you too, Nathan. I'm Lilly, DeadNeptuneCaliforniaEarth2005. I've been enjoying an eventful afterlifeish thing at Milliways for a couple of years now."
