Bartending

Mar 23, 2007 20:39

Garion, lacking a bartending icon FTWince, is settled at the bar, no drinks up on the board. He's got Beldaran with him, tucked into his arm and with the other he holds onto one of the drink recipe manuals, his lips quirking back and forth in indecision. Back and forth, back and forth, and eventually he closes it before laying it on the bar ( Read more... )

"I promised you that I would stop by, didn't I?" Sarah smiles when she walks up to the bar, although the smile turns somewhat awkward when she notices Beldaran.

She's never been fully comfortable around children when it comes down to it.

He grins. Beldaran, for her part, just sort of watchs from her father's arms.

"Yes, you did. What would you like?"

His head tips back to indicate the board.

"As it says, of course."

"That really leaves me with quite a range, doesn't it?"

She laughs, shrugging slightly as she glances towards the specials board. "Well, do you have any suggestions? After all, my choice does apparently play an impact for the rest of the night."

Cute baby and person he knows brings Will over, he's still in a good mood and realizes that Garion might actually know how women's minds work,

"Good even, milord, what tis good tonight?"

"Ale is always servicable," he answers, "but it depends on your mood. Good evening."

Beldaran waaaaaves.

Will returns the wave to Beldaran and smiles,

He nods and starts mixing.

...the fact that he does it with one hand is rather impressive. Then again, he is a king. Beldaran, though, stares at Will.

"Hair. Red hair."

She bounces, her little copper curls bouncing with her.

Garion kisses his daughter on top of her head.

"Yes, Beldaran."

Link sits down at the bar, barely glancing at the specials board. He looks a bit distracted, no where near his normally somewhat cheerful self.

"Evening, Garion. An ale, if you don't mind."

After a short moment, he looks over, and sees Beldaran. The young child manages to make him smile a little.

"And good evening to you, young lady."

He serves up, easy enough even with the bar asleep, and nudges the glass towards Link. Beldaran, big green eyes wide and bright, smiles at Link.

"Hello."

She's smaller than most children, with copper curls and skin that's pale and just faintly almost green. If there's any way to tell, she 'feels' like a tree.

Well, he doesn't have such a sense, but she does somehow remind him of his home village, where you can't walk five feet without running into a tree.

He smiles somewhat, taking the ale with a nod of thanks to Garion.

"You must be the lovely young daughter Garion told me of, then. A pleasure to meet you."

Link enjoys children. As much of a handful the ones from his village can be, he'd always feel better around children.

Oh, this little one is a handful. She behaves for strangers, though. It doesn't do to act out in public.

"It is indeed. Beldaran, this is Link. Link, Beldaran."
