Cassandra sits in a booth, surrounded by a variety of objects - lots of appliances in various stages of construction or deconstrucion, spare parts, tools familiar and unfamiliar, and several toasters.

She hums as she works.

Sam comes and stands next to Cassandra's booth, quietly staring at whatever she's building.

"Is that something else to help us?"

Cassandra glances up at Sam and smiles softly.

"No, this is simply to pass time.
Over the years I've discovered building things can be rather soothing."

She gestures to the seat across from her.
"Sit?"

Sam nods and takes a seat.
She takes a closer look at the items on the table.

"So..what exactly are you doing?"

"I thought I would try to build a transmorphic modulator."
