Near the middle of the bar is a decently-large sized table. In the middle of the table is a huge pot of tea, and mugs are strewn hap-hazardly around the table. The people around the table are varied, but all seem to be in various states of agitated discussion about something

The group of people has attracted the attention of one seemingly six year old with glasses. He stops and looks to the group at the table. '...Why the gathering' he thinks in his mind, only able to hear his own true voice there. 'I've never seen a group like this in the bar here before...' Eyeing them suspiciously from a slight distance, he turns fully to them to watch them intently, his hands in his short pockets.

A blonde man with glasses seems to be the most animated of the group, talking perhaps a bit over-loudly to the blonde woman next to him. "Val, seriously, I could do it and not even think twice about it."

The woman looks at him, a bit pensively, shaking her head. "Mark, listen. You could, but that doesn't mean you should. There's other factors at work here."

The grey-haired man in brown robes looks up, startled. "I do believe we are being observed." He turns and smiles at the young boy.

Ray knows most... actually, know. Ray knows all of the faces in this crowd; he just doesn't know all the people, since he's never met Biggs before. So he's smiling pretty well as he comes up to the table."Afternoon, everybody," he greets.

Qui-Gon, Val and Joanne all greet Ray with various states of smile. Biggs shrugs, then goes back to his mug.

Mark, however, waves Ray into a chair. "Ray! Have a seat. Do you know everyone around here?"

"Almost," Ray says as he sits down. "You, Master Qui-Gon, Val, and Joanne here, yeah, but..."

He looks inquiringly at Biggs, and manages not to fanboy.

Biggs swallows a drink of his lum, then holds out a hand. "Biggs Darklighter. Once of the Rebel Alliance, now rather dead."

And Bonzo walks in right about now. And sees a table full of...two people he knows/knows of and a few he doesn't. Ok...

"Ho, Val. What's up?"

He does look rather...at peace with himself. Which, for the record, is strange for him since he's been...six. Go figure.

Val was in rather deep perusal of something in a book in front of her, but she looks up sharply at Bonzo. "Oh, hey, Bonzo. We're just having a bit of an argument. Well, alright. Mark's trying to convince us of something, and we're all trying to tell him to shut up. It's not really working." She smiles.

Bonzo grins.

"I don't recall too many attempts to convince you of stuff working. So, how've you been doing?"

"Not bad, really. Keeping busy, I guess. Haven't found Luke in a while, but really that's rather par for the course." She shrugs. "You keeping busy?"

There are certainly a lot of people round that table. For Ben, open to the Force just a trickle at the moment, it's almost too much noise -- but there's a Jedi, he can feel that before he even recognises the robes (though not the person), so he approaches.

The others get a wary glance -- with a nod at Mark, a smile at Val, and distracted curiosity at Biggs -- before he turns to Qui-Gon and says, "Are you a Jedi Master?"

The others simply smile at the youngster before going back to their discussions. Qui-Gon smiles at him, a gentle interest. "I am, youngling. Who are you, if I might ask?"

Ben nods triumphantly and stands a little straighter. "My name's Ben Skywalker. Um, I've never seen you on Ossus -- are you from the past?"

Qui-Gon beams. "Ah. If I haven't missed my guess, your father is Luke Skywalker." He cracks a bit of a wry smile. "I knew your grandfather when he was about your age, so yes, you could say that I am of your past."
